Our BEFRIEND STRESS program is an intensive series intended to deepen your understanding of your individual signs and symptoms of stress. Learn how to effectively manage stress while you understand your stress response style, and confidently take on the challenges life offers.
The BEFRIEND STRESS program meets once a week for the designated program time. Each week focuses on a different theme and includes yoga, meditation and a group discussion.
In addition to the weekly sessions, a One-Day Retreat, a powerful component of the series, is offered mid-way through the program on a Saturday or Sunday. The retreat offers an opportunity to pause and assess your increased insight into your stress cycle through silent meditation, journaling, and discussion.
The Befriend Stress series includes five programs. The original program focuses on general Stress while other areas of focus include stress in Career, Body, Relationships, and Transition.
Plus, included in the cost, a One-Day Silent Retreat! Participants also experience a one-day silent group retreat on the Saturday following the fourth week. Location to be announced.

WHO IS THE PROGRAM FOR?
Anyone who is a professional DOER looking for a way to find time and space for themselves amidst their jam packed schedules.
WHAT FORMAT WILL THE PROGRAM TAKE?
Participants will meet together once per week for 6 weeks. Each meeting will be 2 hours. There will also be one retreat day scheduled between the 4th & 5th week. This retreat day will run from 9:00AM to 6:00PM.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN IN EACH OF THE SIX-WEEK SESSIONS?
You will be a part of a group facilitated by Lyn Tally and Hallie Clark. During the first meeting you will be informed more fully about the entire program and what will be involved. Each meeting will include the practice of simple yoga poses, meditation, and group discussion.
I'VE NEVER DONE YOGA AND I'M NOT VERY FLEXIBLE. WILL THAT BE A PROBLEM?
No, it will not be a problem. You will be safely guided through the different yoga poses each week. It is expected that everyone in the group will have their own unique challenges, and this is perfectly acceptable.
WHAT WILL I GET OUT OF THE PROGRAM?
In short, you'll move from being overwhelmed and over tired to experiencing the joy of life again.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Wear loose, comfortable clothes.
DO I NEED TO BRING ANYTHING?
You'll need to bring a yoga mat, yourself, and an open mind ready to explore.
WILL IT BE A LARGE GROUP OF PEOPLE?
No. In fact, the group's size is limited to 14 participants. So early registration is highly recommended.

WHAT'S DOES ALL OF THIS COST?
Enrollment fee includes all materials, 7 yoga classes, all day retreat, Audio recordings, and course book.
